photos: more of korea

I’ve finished processing the photos i wanted to put online. For this trip, both of us ended up with around 1600 photos. I guess we’re both quite triggerhappy. But its still less than the 2000+ we took in japan.

photos : korea 2008

Yup, I’m back from my trip. I just landed on friday night, and after a 2 days of sleeping and recovering from a running nose, I pulled out a few photos taken from the trip to share. Its probably gonna take me a couple of weeks to sort out all the photos, so I just pulled a few random ones to share.

More photos coming …

weddings : shane and eileen

Shane and Eileen are another couple that i shot during my busy month. It was one of the more amusing weddings that I’ve shot for very long.

The morning was marked with the bridesmaids (mostly the brides sisters and cousins) and brothers in school uniforms to gatecrash… well kind off in school uniform.

The evening reception was a service held at Hort Park, followed by dinner with the guests.

I’ve compiled a slideshow of the images to share.

Congratulations Shane and Eileen.

weddings : gerald & angela

After a busy few weeks, I’m finally free enough to start posting again. I’ve got a few hours before my flight out, so I thought I’d take the time to put something up.

Angela and Gerald are a lovely couple that I met last year. I have the opportunity to be engaged by them to cover their wedding, which was spread over two days. They exchanged their vows and a beautiful church, followed by a dinner reception at the Hyatt the next day.

Coincidentally, Angela also knew Dawn, one of the brides that i shot last year, and they had their dinner at the same place. I met Dawn’s parents at the reception. Friends, same venue, same photographer. Small world.

Here’s the slideshow that I did up for them, covering some of the highlights of the wedding.

Congratulations Gerald & Angela. I’ll get in touch with you again in about 1 1/2 weeks time.

ramblings : updates

I’m rather busy processing photos so i can’t really post much. Just wanted to write a few lines to remind people that i’m still alive.

I only realised last week, that when I migrated my website to my new address, I forgot to update my email address on the webpage and blog. The joys of aging :S.

My apologies to all the people who have tried to contact me with my old address.

I’ll be away from 24th Oct – 1st Nov, so I would like to finish all the photos for my couple before I fly off. As and soon as I’m done, I’ll pick out some photos for posting.
