About Me

I’m currently working full time in the IT industry doing Research and Development work, as well as shooting freelance wedding assignments. I’m also a member of the Wedding PhotoJournalists Association (WPJA).

Besides shooting weddings by my own company Darrel Chia Photography (also Mirareste Photography, and Weddings By Darrel … yah.. I can’t make up my mind), I also pick up the occasional job from Chris Ling Photography. I’ve been shooting for Chris for about 2 years already, and I’ve really learnt a lot from him.

Oh. And currently, I only shoot actual day weddings.

About My Blog

The blog was originally started to discuss about my daytime work in the IT sector, my freelance work in Wedding Photography, and whatever nonsense i can think of, as as named “Weddings, Tech and Ramblings”

Gradually, it evolved and I dropped the technology part it from my blog as there was really too much diversity in the content, and I needed to focus into one area.

Now, my blog contains mostly photos, and updates from some of the weddings I’ve been shooting.
