As promised, here’s some of the Photos from Zoukout ‘05. I posted these in flickr and hot-linked them here… and the process is a major pain *Arrgghh*. Anway, I didn’t want to put these up until it was up in the zouk website and stuff. Do note that these photos ARE copyrighted. I take no responsibility to the consequence if you leech them and end up with a big lawsuit. Anyway Zoukout was great … but my photos suck.
Of course, the crowd was pretty wild, espcially at the mambo arena, where the largely Singaporean group went into a dance frenzy upon hearing their favourite tunes.
Yes, babes galore ! Most of them in bikini
Ok, this is a photographer thing.
… Just shooting some mood shots.

As with all zoukouts, the laser lighting was very impressive
I was shooting at the main tent (playing trance) most of the time.
Crowd appreciation of DJ Armin, who was a clear favourite with his trance spins. Oh man … looks at the crushing crowds.
Halfway through the fest, it RAINED !… actually it literally poured, sending the less enthusiastic scrambling for limited cover. However, the sudden outburst of mother nature was unable to dampen the already feverish crowd. Of course, this photo was taken when the rain quelled to a slight drizzle…
Anyway, the collective results of the shoots are available at the zoukout website already.
All in all, it was a pretty wild experience, even though I’m not much of a nightlife person.
Update: images from this entry have been removed during the process of website migration.
