Weddings and Ramblings

Ok ok … I admit I haven’t been updating my blog regularly, it just so uneventful the past few weeks.

Just a couple of updates.

Anyway, I just returned from Hong Kong earlier this month after a fruitless camera gear hunt, but happily stuffed with HK delicacies and cheap clothes. It was kindoff a working-holiday trip… my gf went there to work, and i took the holiday for her, prowling the streets of HK for the best bargain on camera equipment.

One piece of advice : If you are planning to go to HK for camera shopping, bring cash. The prices there aren’t really that much cheaper compared to Singapore anymore, and when u add in a 2% credit card surcharge and an unknown exchange rate… lets just say that you may end up coming back empty handed.

My old webbie mirareste.com has officially died (I need to figure out how to get the domain transfer done) so I hope all the mail doesn’t go missing. Just shot a ROM last weekend. I’ve already dropped shooting ROMs from my service list and haven’t been shooting these for a couple of months already. But a close friend called me up on saturday morning to ask me to stand in for him as he wasn’t feeling well. (Yes, all of us ethical photographers have fellow photographers on standby). Anyway, Congratulations to the couple Ivan and Zane, and hope you like the photos (when you receive them). As requested, the photos will not be online.

Anyway, Sept-October is going to be a pretty busy month, with 3 weddings, a korea trip and project work thrown in. I hope I can manage to get some rest… In the meantime, I guess I have to practice my storing up sleep like how camels store water.
